First Lane:

Atal and his sister, Nasreen go out from home to the lane. Atal takes his bicycle too. The peddler comes and they welcome him. Atal seems sad. The peddler asks the reason. Attal says that his bicycle’s wheels are rusted. The peddler asks him where he stands his bicycle. Nasreen says that he always stands his bicycle in the house yard. Atal asks where to stand then.

The peddler turns on his magic mirror. In the mirror, Atal and Nasreen see their neighbor, Mahmood. Mahmood says that he always lubricates his bicycle’s wheels in the winter and covers it with plastic and then he stands it in the house basement.

Peddler turns off the mirror. Atal promises that when he goes back home, he would wash his bicycle and then he would also lubricate his bicycle and would stand it in his house basement.

Peddler appreciates him and he goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Khalida, Yusuf, and other children are laughing in the lane. Peddler comes and after greeting he asks the reason for their laughter.

Yusuf says that Khalida told them a joke. Peddler asks her to share the joke with him too. Khalida tells the joke: “There were three boys who were asking each other’s day of the birth. The first boy said that he was born on Monday. The second boy said that he was born on Wednesday and the third boy said that he was born on Friday. The other boys laughed and said that he was telling lie because Friday is a holiday.”

Peddler likes the joke and asks them to learn more jokes for next time and then he goes to the other lane.

Third Lane:

Osman and Hosai are waiting in the lane for the peddler and Golden Wing fairy to come and tell them the second part of the story “Lost Necklace”.

Peddler and fairy come and the children greet them. Hosai asks the fairy to tell them the new part of the story "The Lost Necklace".

Fairy asks them what happened in the first part. Hosai and Osman tell that in the previous part as follow:  “One day, when Naseer and Hameeda were grazing their flock, Hameeda called to Naseer and said that some of the sheep do not eat grass. Naseer took the flock to a stream for drinking water. Meanwhile, two sheep changed their way. Naseer asked Hameeda to take care of the flock and he would return the other sheep too. When Naseer reached to pit, he saw something in the pit and cried.”

The fairy tells that Hameeda went toward Naseer and saw a nice necklace in his hand she asked about it. Naseer said that he found it on the way. Naseer said three times that home necklace is this but no one replied and he put it in his pocket.

The Lost Necklace: Part Two

Hameeda was very happy and wanted Naseer to give the necklace to her to show it to her mother but Naseer said that would try to find its owner, meanwhile, their neighbor, Wazhma came and asked about the nice necklace. Hameeda shared the whole story with her. Wazhma asked Naseer to give the necklace to her but Naseer denied and said that it’s not her necklace. Wazhma said to Hameeda that if Naseer gives the necklace to her, then she would give her a nice doll to Hameeda.

End part two.

Naseer was a boy living in a village with his parents and his sister, Hameeda. His father a businessman. Naseer and Hameeda were always grazing their flock of sheep and goats in a pasture.
