Starting any kind of business depends on the possibilities and the amount of money that we want to start a business with it. But expanding the business to get more benefit depends on what we think and what we want to do and how we organize and work.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Humaira Nayebkhail who has expanded his business.

Nayebkhail says about his business: “I started my work from baking Bolani(a special Afghani food) and homemade cookies and I and my husband was selling in the bazaar. Later I opened a small restaurant in Kabul city two years ago but after 3 months we faced loss. We decided to close the restaurant but one of my friends advised me to print a business card. I printed the mentioned cards and my husband distributed them to the people on Fridays in front of Masjid and later our customers increased and we expanded our business by opening the second branch of our restaurant.

We hired some women and men employees. Four men employees are busy in work with my husband in the second branch and four women are working with me in the first branch. We pay 6000 Afghanis monthly salary to each of the employees and our monthly income has increased twice than before.”
