Every businessman wants to get more benefit. Some of them fail and the others succeed to reach their target.
AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Abdul Ahmad, a resident of Kabul city about his business.
Abdul Ahmad says: “When I was in abroad, I was busy in painting tables and chairs and when I came back to Afghanistan, I started my work as a stone breaker but it was a very hard job and I left it after a year. Later I learned car key making with my brother-in-law in three months and I opened key making workshop about eight years ago. When I was breaking stones for building, my daily income was reaching to 300 Afghanis but now my daily incomes are between 800-1000 Afghanis.”
New Skill:
Some people have learned new skills and could earn more money.
AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to engineer Abdullah, a resident of Kabul city.
Abdullah talks about his business. He says: “I was in one of the neighboring countries and there I was working in one of the battery manufacturing plants. I learned the primary steps of the manufacturing of car battery and when I came back to Afghanistan, I learned the remaining steps of battery manufacturing with an Indian engineer for 6 months. I bought a piece of land and I built a manufacturing plant about 8 years ago. I prepare the raw materials from the markets of Afghanistan. I manufacture about 1000 car and solar energy penal batteries daily and I get 30% benefit of them.
My customers are the car and solar energy penal battery wholesalers and merchants in Kabul and provinces.”
