The Neighbors of Afghanistan

First Lane:

Rasheed and Nafeesa are talking about their neighbors. Rasheed says that there is Assad’s house in the north of their house. Nafeesa says that Zubaida lives in the south of their house.

 Peddler comes with is rabbit and children warmly welcome him. The rabbit says she knows her neighbors too. Peddler asks them if anyone knows their country neighbors.

Rabbit mentions some provinces but the peddler does not accept. Rasheed says that Iran is our neighbor.

 Nafeesa says that Pakistan is also our neighbor but he does not know more neighbors of Afghanistan.

Peddler turns on the talking box.

A girl, Marwa says that she doesn’t any neighbor of Afghanistan. Jamil says that Russia, Pakistan, Iran, and Germany is the neighbor of Afghanistan. Sonobar says that China, Iran, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are our neighbors.

Nafeesa asks about the correct answer to the question. Peddler stands up toward west and open his arms and says that suppose his Afghanistan. Then he asks three children to stand to his right hand. He says that Kirghizstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are Afghanistan’s northern neighbors. Then he stands rabbit on her left hand and says that Pakistan is located on the east side of Afghanistan. He stands Nafisa in front of himself and says that she is Iran and she stands Rasheed behind Nafeesa and says that he is China.

Children know about the neighbors of Afghanistan and peddler tells them a poem about Afghanistan and he wants the children to learn it. Peddler and his rabbit go to the next lane.

Second lane:

Manizha and Fawad are laughing in the alley. Peddler comes and after greeting, he asks them about their laughing. Fawad says that Manizha as leaned a new joke. Peddler asks her to tell the joke to him as well.

Manizha tells the following joke: “A student was eating something in the class. The teacher asked him what he was eating. The student replied nothing. Then the teacher asked him to open his mouth. When the student opened his mouth, a dried prune was in his mouth. The teacher asked him why he was eating prune. The student said that he wanted the prune to soften till the break time.”

The peddler likes the joke and he wants the children to learn more jokes and tell him next time and he goes to the last alley.

Third Lane:

Children are waiting for the peddler and Golden wings fairy to come and tell the next part of the story: Birds Nest. Meanwhile, peddler arrives with the fairy and they greet them. Manizha asks the Golden Wings fairy to tell them the new part of the story.

Fairy asks them to tell her the previous part first.

Manizha and Farhad tell the previous part as follow: “When they reached to pasture, Haroon asked Haidar to tell him about his happiness. Haidar took him beside an old wall and asked Haroon to enter his hand in the hole of the wall. Haroon denied and said that if something bites him.

Haidar entered his hand in the hole of the wall and cried.”

Manizha asks about the crying of Haidar. Golden Wing fairy says that when Haidar entered his hand in the birds' nest, there was the wasps' nest too near the birds' nest and wasps bit Haidar and Haidar cried. Next day Haidar went to the pasture early in the morning and he destroyed the wasps' nest.

Part Three:

When Haidar and Haroon went to the pasture, Haidar asked Haroon to enter his hand in the wall’s hole. Haidar says that there is wasps' nest. Haidar said that he has destroyed the wasps' nest and he entered his hand in the wall’s hole and said happily that there are four now. Haroon asked about it. Haidar asked him to check them himself. When Haidar entered his hand, he said that the bird has laid four eggs.”
