Arif and Baseer go to the castle and are waiting for Lalo Mama in the yard. Lalo comes and welcomes them. Lalo Mama asks about Arif’s sister.

Arif says that although he has prevented her from going to school but she had gone to school and so he did not take her to the castle. Baseer blames Arif. Lalo Mama takes them inside the castle. Baseer asks Lalo Mama to open a window for their information.

Lalo Mama opens the following window.

Window:

In the window, the reporter of the castle says that some brothers do not allow their young sisters to continue their school and this issue causes the girls many problems. One of these problems is a psychological problem. Then she talks to some girls about this issue.

Maryam, a resident of Farza district, Kabul province says: “I studied the fourth-grade of school and then my brother prevented me from going to school and I became very sad and I was always suffering from a headache. One day, while I was not in a good mode, I was cleaning a cupboard at home, I fell down on the ground and my father took me to the hospital and they put me on oxygen. I was not able to talk for three months. The doctor asked my parents about my problems. They said that she has no problem.”

Another girl says: “when I was a ninth-grade student, my brother prevented me from going to school and it badly affected me. I wish that if I was a boy.”

Lalo Mama closes the window. Baseer asks about the solution to this problem.

Lalo Mama opens another window for their more information.

Window:

In the window, a drama is shown. In the first scene, Zarmeena is in a hospital and her mother is crying. The doctor is visiting Zarmeena and says that Zarmeena is suffering from depression and then he asks Zarmeena’s mother about their home’s problems but she is crying.

In the second scene, Zarmeena’s brother, Ihsan comes to the hospital and asks his mother about the cause of Zarmeena’a illness.

His mother blames Ihsan and says that when he prevented Zarmeena from going to school, Zarmeena faced this problem. The doctor confirms Zarmeena’s mother saying and adds that if education is a bad thing, then why boy study.

Zarmeena’s mother says that all female patients come to the clinic and the female doctor is visiting them and adds that if there were no educated girl, then the women had to go to a man doctor.

Ihsan promises that he would allow her sister to continue her school. Zarmeena becomes happy and thanks Ihsan.

Lalo Mama closes this window too. Arif also promises to allow his sister to go to school. Lalo Mama appreciates him.
