Dishwashing Liquid

Over the last few years, many manufacturing factories have started to produce goods and the owners of these factories are eager to introduce their products to the markets but what is needed to be done before introducing products to the market?

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Habeebullah Amini, the director of dishwashing liquid factory in Kabul city.

Amini says about his works: “we started to produce dishwashing liquid in 2011. At the beginning, we were distributing the products only to Kabul province but now we are distributing them to 8 more provinces. Our factory produces liquids for dishwash, carwash, carpet, and clothes washing and then we pack them in different sizes in bottles.

Our customers are shopkeepers, supermarkets’ owners, hotels, car and carpet washers. We have free delivery service to all customers in Kabul and provinces. We have two vans for delivering our products to our customers in Kabul city and we have signed contracts with some transports to deliver the products to some provinces.

At the beginning, we were producing about 2 tons dishwashing liquid weekly but now our daily products reach 3 tons. We prefer to get less benefit and produce better quality goods.”

Three activities at the same time:

Those who are busy in economic activities, if at the same time, they could do some more economic activities, their income would increase.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to a shopkeeper, Jawhar Khan, a resident of Qalai Mirza village, Farza district, Kabul province.

Jawhar Khan says: “at the beginning, my brother had this shop. When I came to Kabul from Helmand province seven years ago, my brother left the shop to me. As there are girls’ and boys’ schools near the shop, I started to sell Bolani and burger beside my shop seven years ago and one year before, I started to sell soup too.

My family prepares the dough and boils potatoes for Bolani at home and I bake Bolani at the shop.

I gain 100 Afghanis benefit from Bolani; one hundred Afghanis from soup and one hundred Afghanis benefit from my shop. I could solve my economic problems and I have bought a piece of land too.”
