Typhoid and food

Typhoid is a contagious disease and cannot be treated without medicines.

Faridullah, one of the physicians in Kabul says to the writer/producer of AEPO:

“Typhoid is a dangerous disease, affects people in any season of the year. Onset of the disease is slow and gradually increases. If someone does not cure, it could be caused the enlargement of liver, gallbladder and ذleeding of digestive system.

 Typhoid patients suffer from high fever, cough, headache, body ache and vomiting. Butter, fried and fatty foods would increase the illness.

Abdul Jabar, a resident of Qarabagh, district of Kabul says:

“Althea, Chicory, Sisymbrium irio, herb mint, lemon and orange juice are very useful during typhoid.”

Physicians advise typhoid Patients to avoid greasy and fatty foods and eat vegetable and fresh fruits instead.
