Some people take benefit of their experiences in economic works. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Mansoor Zaher, a resident of Jalalabad city, Nangarhar province who makes dynamo.

Zaher says: “I produce dynamos for any kind vehicle. The dynamo that I produce, converts 150-200 amperes mechanical energy into electrical energy in every 5-10 minutes and it could charge the battery of the vehicle easily. I also produce the spare parts of the dynamo here in my workshop. At the beginning, these types of dynamos were imported from abroad and the price of each dynamo reached to 7000 Afghanis but the price of each dynamo that I produce is about 700-800 Afghanis. I use old dynamo in my work. I burn the copper of the old dynamo and then I rebind it from a new copper wire and I also replace some parts of it. My productions are distributing to 22 provinces of the country and I get 300-400 Afghanis benefit from each dynamo.”

Mobile Dry-cleaning:

Muhammad Agha, a resident of Kabul city says to AEPO’s writer/producer: “I have started dry-cleaning about 17 years ago but recently, I started free home delivery services. Our customer calls us and we take the items for dry-cleaning.

We dry-clean carpets, suits, dresses, and other washable materials. After we started our new services, our customers increased by about 50-60 percent. Our monthly incomes reach about 150 thousand Afghanis.”
