Water scarcity and the impacts of climate change have posed serious challenges to orchard management, leading to reduced yields and the drying up of long-established trees. As a result, many orchard owners have suffered significant economic losses.

Findings indicate that the failure to retain soil moisture has become one of the main contributing factors to this crisis. Additionally, issues such as lack of awareness, limited financial capacity, and insufficient water resources have further aggravated the problem.

However, some orchard owners have been able to partially mitigate these challenges by applying various methods.
