Tree Planting on Mountains and Hills
Village Voice

When mountains and hills become bare and without trees, the land can no longer retain water, and life becomes more difficult for both humans and animals. Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture warn that in recent years, parts of Afghanistan’s mountains and hills have been severely degraded due to tree cutting and the lack of reforestation.
The consequences of this situation have been soil erosion, increased flooding, and serious damage to the environment. But how has this crisis affected the lives of local people?
In the Village Voice program, we hear the voices of local residents.
