Helping each other

The main goal is for children to understand that helping others fosters friendship and kindness, and that there will come a time when they will also need help from others.

The story revolves around three mice: Shamo, Sheely, and Changa. Shamo is a chubby mouse who has plenty of food but never helps anyone. When Sheely falls ill and asks Shamo for food, he refuses to help. However, Changa, despite having very little food, chooses to help Sheely and ultimately saves his life.

As winter arrives, Shamo's house collapses, leaving him in need of help. Sheely and Changa come to his aid. Shamo then regrets his past behavior, sincerely thanking them and asking for their forgiveness.
