  Written by: Asma Kakar

Once upon a time, there were two roasters, Red and White living in neighboring. One-day, early in the morning, the Red crowed very slowly. White asked him about his problem. Red said that his owner has gone somewhere and has left him some soaked bread but he doesn’t like to eat the same food every day. The White said that his owner does the same but I always eat the soaked bread. Red asked white to go with him outside for eating something but White rejected and advised to take care of himself.

Red went out and found some grains around the house and ate them and then he climbed on a big stone and sang a song. A Fox heard her voice and went near him. Red was afraid and wanted to run away that the fox asked him to sing a song for my tail first and then, I would eat you. Red started a song but he was not able to continue it because he was very thirsty. Fox brought him some water from the nearby stream. Red drank the water and the fox wanted to eat the Red. Red said that he doesn’t have enough meat and, if you want more hunts, I would call my two other friends,

Piebald and White. the Fox accepted. Red climbed on a big stone again and called the White and Piebald. When Piebald heard the voice of Red, she was barking and arrived with White near the Red. Fox ran away. Red said to the fox that Piebald is the name of a dog. Red thanked White and said that one should think well first, and then do a job. White called him a clever roaster.
