Children's anemia caused by iron deficiency

Written by: Ahmad Nazir Sikandari

Anemia is a disease that can affect all people, but in recent years, children have faced anemia more than others have. One of the causes of anemia is a lack of iron in the child's body.

Iron is an important nutritional substance that plays a vital role in various functions of the body, including the transfer of oxygen in the blood, and its existence is vital for the development of the child's brain and the supply of energy for his/her daily life.

If the child's diet lacks iron, she/he may develop iron deficiency.
AEPO’s writers/producers have talked about this disease to some parents and a child specialist at Child Health Hospital in Kabul city.
