Once upon a time, there was a boy, Yasir living in a green village. Yasir had two friends, Abdullah and Jawid. Abdullah was Yasir’s neighbor and Jawid was living in another village.

One day, when Abdullah and Yasir were playing, Jawid came happily. He said that next day would be a running race in the playground of the district and the winner would get a bicycle as a prize.

Yasir said that he would win the bicycle because every year he wins the race.

Jawid did not want to take part in the race because he was sure that Yasir would win the race. Abdullah told him to take part in the race and try your chance.

Next day the race started. Yasir was in front of all participants of the race. When they were near to the end point, Yasir left behind. Jawid won the race and got the prize.

Yasir was very sad and went back home. His sister asked him about the result of the race. Yasir said that he lost the race because he had foot pain. When her sister saw his feet, they were cracked and had bleedings. She bandaged his feet.

Yasir was not able to go out and play with his friends for some days.

One day Abdullah and Jawid came to visit Yasir. They asked him the reason of losing the race. Abdullah showed them his cracked feet. Abdullah and Jawid showed their clean and smooth hands and feet to him. They said that every night we use Vaseline for our hands and feet and wash them in the morning with lukewarm water and soap.

Yasir said that his mother also had told him to use Vaseline and wash my hands and feet with lukewarm water and soap but I did not accept her advice and at the result, I lost the race.
