Calling Children with Bad Names

 Written by: Arash Nangyal

First Lane:

Fawad annoys one of his friends by calling him a dirty boy. His sister, Fawzia forbids him from calling anyone bad names, but Fawad refuses, arguing that he always calls his friends those names, but they don't care. Meanwhile, the peddler comes and after greeting he asks about their argument.

Fouzia shares Fawad's issue with the peddler. The peddler says that calling friends and others bad names sometimes causes fights and then he brings out the magic mirror from his bag. Fawad and Fawzia see two children fighting. The head of one of them was broken and the eye of the other was injured.
The peddler turns the mirror to the other side. Fawad and Fouzia see that many children are playing on the ground without the two children who fought.
The peddler takes the magic mirror back into his bag. The peddler says that the two boys were close friends, but one called the other an unfair name, and as a result, they fought and became enemies.
Fawad promises that he will never call anyone bad names afterward. The peddler goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Nasrat and Shikeba are in their garden and laughing. Peddler passes by the lane and hears their laughter. He also goes to the garden. The children welcome him. Peddler asks about the cause of their laughter.

The children reply that they were joking among themselves. The peddler wants to tell him a joke.

Nasrat tells this joke, “A simple man was eating in a restaurant. A boy was also eating at the same table. The boy took a napkin. The simple man prevented it and says that it does not taste good."

The peddler likes this joke and wants the kids to learn more jokes for next time.
Third Lane:

Sara and Hamid are playing with the letters of the alphabet. A peddler arrives and after greeting, the peddler asks them to find words that start with "Ć" (the 11th letter of the Pashto alphabet). Kids find names that start with "Ć".

The peddler gives them a pencil and notebook as a gift and wants them to find more names and write them in the notebook. The peddler goes to the last lane.

Fourth Lane:

Parvez and Samira are repeating the previous part of the “Golden Ant” story. The Peddler and the Golden Wing Fairy listen to them and the fairy tells them a new part of the story of the series.
