The peddler enters the alley but does not see any child. He worries about the absence of the children. Suddenly, he sees that Najiba and Naqeeb are arguing. The peddler approaches and after greeting them, he asks the reason for their argument.

Naqib replies that he is thirsty, but Najiba does not let him drink water from his bottle.

The peddler asks Najiba about the cause. Najiba replies that she is sick and her teacher told her not to drink water from other people's bottles and not to give her bottle to others.

Naqib asks the reason. Peddler brings out a pair of magic eyeglasses and wants Naqib to see the water bottle on the magic eyeglasses.

Naqib sees many small objects in the water and asks the peddler about them.

Peddler says that the water of the bottle is infected and the small objects are called germs and if a healthy person drinks from such water, he/she might get sick.

Naqib thanks his sister, Najiba for not giving him the bottle.

Children want the peddler to tell them a joke if he knows.

The peddler tells the following joke, “A sick boy went to the doctor and told the doctor that when he puts his finger anywhere on his body, that part of his body hurts. The doctor noticed that his finger was injured, and when he put his injured finger on any part of his body, he felt pain in his finger, but he thought that the pain was from another part of his body.’

Children love jokes and the peddler goes to the next alley.
