Magic Well

Once upon a time, two friends (Rafi and Karim) were living in a green village.

One day before sunset, Rafi asked Karim to go with him for playing on the village ground, but Karim refused and suggested playing on the dessert next to the village cemetery.

The cemetery was far from the village and when they got there they started to hide and seek game.

First Rafi closed his eyes and Karim hid behind a large tree. Rafi found Karim with difficulties. The next time, Karim closed his eyes for a while and Rafi went to hide somewhere.

A few minutes passed but Karim did not find Rafi.

The weather was getting dark but there was no sign of Rafi.

Karim's friend, Jalal, was passing by the cemetery. When he saw that Karim was looking for something, he asked about it.

Karim shared the issue of Rafi’s loss with him. Jalal and Karim looked for Rafi behind trees and large rocks, but they could not find him.

Jalal said that Rafi might go home, but Karim did not agree.

Jalal went home and Karim continued to find Rafi.

Rafi had fallen into a deep well and was crying, but Karim could not hear him crying.

The well greeted Rafi and said that he was waiting for him because the well was magical and he had eaten the other two boys and he would eat Rafi too.

Rafi asked the well about his fault. The magic well answered why Rafi threw stones inside the well. Rafi admitted his mistake and asked the magic well to let him go home, but the well said that it is a cannibal well and that it would never let Rafi return home.

Karim shared the issue with Rafi’s father, and Rafi's father came to the cemetery with several villagers to find his son.
Rafi's father asked Karim about the place where they were playing.

Karim said they were playing near the cemetery. Rafi's father recalled that there was a deep well next to the cemetery.

Rafi's father and the villagers went near the well.

On the other hand, Rafi tried to cry when he heard the noise of the people, but the magic well closed its mouth.

The villagers wanted to go back to the village but Rafi’s father said that he will not go back home without Rafi. Suddenly, Rafi’s father saw the footsteps of his son beside the well.

He dropped a small stone into the well and heard the crying of Rafi.

Rafi’s father rescued Rafi from the magic well. Magic well became sad that the villagers rescued Rafi alive.
