How to organize Family Expenses?

Income or earning money is not always the same for all people. Sometimes conditions cause unemployment.

Some families waste their monthly expenses at a time when they have a better income, but when they are unemployed and have no income, they get into trouble but some others can control their family expenses according to their income. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Ahmad, a resident of Kabul city.

Ahmad says, “In the beginning, I was working for an office and I had about 40 thousand Afghani monthly salaries. My monthly expenses were about 20 thousand Afghanis and I was earning the extra money for our future.

Now I don’t have a job. I am a private teacher and have less salary. I discussed with my family to arrange and control our family expenses.

I reduced the expenses from maximum almost to minimum. Before when we were going somewhere, we paid more money for the fare of the car but now we go everywhere by bus. We have reduced our daily expenses too.

Besides teaching a few students, I sell honey and some herbal medicines online too and I could solve my economic problems.”

Professional Learning:

Professional learning has positive effects on our economic life. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Abdul Basit, a resident of Kabul city. Abdul Basit says, “I started my job at a trading company about 10 years ago. In the beginning, I was apprenticed to this company. Later I succeeded the University of Economy. When I graduated from the mentioned faculty, I started my work again at the same company.

I have installed Quickbooks and other programs on my computer. We have an online business. We order goods through emails. I have learned marketing too and I have not faced any problems in my job.”
