How do some youths find a solution to this issue?

Muhammad Ali, a resident of Paktia province says, “We have a representative of youths from each street. Whenever youths face problems, they hold a meeting and find solutions for their problems.

For example, we did not playground in our area. We discussed this issue in our meeting. There was a place on the village ground that garbage was accumulated on it and families were also facing problems.

We moved the garbage and prepared a playground. We choose another place for the garbage. On the other hand, if some unrestrained boys harass school girls, we talk to them, if they continue the harassment; we share the issue with the elders of the village.”

Raihanullah, a resident of Nangarhar province says, “Some addicts had been steeling in our residential area and they were inviting other juveniles to smoke with them.
We arranged a committee of village’s youths. We prevented other juveniles from addiction. Now there is no fear from thieves and addicts.”
