Dividing

Once upon a time,  white and gray rabbits were friends, and they were living in a big jungle with other animals.

They were always playing and walking together. One winter day, when the snow had covered all the jungle, they left their houses for finding something for eating.

The white saw an apple in a high branch of a tree. They both tried to climb the tree but they couldn’t.

They became very sad and when they wanted to go back home, the gray said o the white that he saw two carrots in a field and wanted the white rabbit to pull them out of the field.

The white brought the carrots and he suggested dividing them between them equally but the gray rabbit wanted the big carrot because she had found them.

They continued their argument. Meanwhile, the gray took both carrots and ran away, and the white rabbit chased her. The gray’s food stuck in the stone and he fell on the ground.

One of the carrots dropped into the stream and the second remained in her hand. They were arguing to have the remained carrot. Meanwhile, a monkey got aware of their argument and came near to them and asked about the cause.

They shared the issue with her. The monkey divided the carrot into two pieces and gave one piece to each of them. The gray rejected and said that the other half is bigger than her piece of carrot. The monkey ate a bit from the big piece of the carrot and gave it back to the white. This time, the white rejected and said that his portion of the carrot is smaller than the gray rabbit's carrot.

The monkey ate a bite from the gray’s carrot but this time the gray did not accept. The monkey continued eating the carrots till she ate the whole carrots.

The gray and the white monkeys got disappointed to lose the carrots due to their state of disagreement.
