Pure Honey

Selling goods and finding customers depend on what the shopkeeper sells.

Most people want to be surer of the purity of dairy products but how important is the purity of honey in sales?

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Azizurrahman, a resident of Maidan-Wardak province. Azizurrahman says about his business, “I started my business about two years ago at home. At the beginning, I bought a small container of honey and I sold about 20 kilograms of honey in one day and got about 1500 Afghanis benefit.

I always buy honey from a person that I trust him and I am sure about the purity of his honey. I do not have my own shop. My family members help me in packing the honey. My most customers are ordinary people and some shopkeepers.

I consider purity, taste, and smell of honey and I sell about 15 types of honey.”

Sound System:

Some people do other jobs in their free time and thus they get more benefit. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Bilal Omari, a resident of Kabul city.

Omari says, “In the beginning, I was selling mobile credit cards but sometimes I was forgetting to take the price of credit card from the customers and I was facing loss. Later I bought a sound system for about 40 thousand Afghanis with one of my friends. We rent the sound system to our customers for 3000-4000 Afghanis per day. I continue credit card selling too. Now I am able to pay my school and education course fees and push my family as well.”
