When I earned some money, I opened a cosmetics shop in the Company area, district 5, Kabul city about 6 years ago too. I spent about 5 hundred thousand Afghanis on my cosmetics shop.

I continued soup selling too and now my small brother is helping me in selling soup.

I spend about 2000 Afghanis for the ingredients of preparing soup and get 1000 Afghanis daily benefit and my economic condition is much better than before.”

Low Capital Business:

Some people think that with a small amount of money one cannot start a business but some others have proven this guess untrue and started their business with a small amount of money and now they are successful andcould solve their economic problems.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Tajawol, a resident of Kabul city.

Tajawol says, “One of our villagers was selling kulfi ice cream and he encouraged me to start the same business.

I spent about 12 thousand Afghanis and started my business about 3 years ago.

In the beginning, I was preparing ice cream from 3 kilograms of milk and my daily benefit was about 300 hundred Afghanis.

When my customers discovered that I prepare ice cream from pure milk, the number of them increased and now I make ice cream from 15 kilograms milk and now my daily income reaches 1000 Afghanis.”
