Creating New Plans

Benefit and loss are related to each other in business. Some businessmen get disappointed when they face loss and lose their business but some others have found a solution to this issue.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Waseem, a resident of Kabul city. Waseem says, “I had an official job and as my salary was not sufficient for my home expenses, so I opened a home delivery small restaurant too.

Later, I faced about 10 thousand Afghanis loss in my restaurant due to lack of customers and I was not able even to pay wages for waiters and cook but I did not close the restaurant. I made some new plans.

I talked to the waiters and they promised not to get their wages until the restaurant re-get its customers.

We printed some posters about our services and distributed them among the shopkeepers. This time, we accept customers in our restaurant and have home delivery too.

Now we have about 10-30 home delivery orders too. Our most customers are shopkeepers and families.

Now I can pay the wages of my waiters and pay the loan that I have borrowed from my friends.”

Considering Customers’ need:

If someone considers the needs of people, he/she might easily find a business.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Izatullah, a resident of Kabul city.

Izatullah talks about his business, “I am a tailor but as I faced economic problems, I closed my tailoring shop and started a job at a water purifying company about 3 years ago.

When I considered that people need pure drinking water, then I spent about 350 thousand Afghanis on purchasing a water purifying machine.

We purify about 10 thousand liters of water daily and I sell one-liter purified water for 1 Afghani. My daily net income reaches 5000 Afghanis.”
