Stars

First Lane:

Amina is playing in the lane with his brother, Atal. Amina has worn a new shirt and she says that his shirt is embroidered with stars. Atal says that his waistcoat is also embroidered with stars.

Meanwhile, the peddler arrives and after greeting, Amina asks the peddler about their gifts.

Peddler asks them a puzzle and promises that if they find the correct answer for it, he would give them gifts.

 Children find some wrong answers but the peddler does not accept. Finally, Amina finds the correct answer for the puzzle which is the star.

Peddler gives a plastic doll to Amina and a ball to Atal and he goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Zabih and Adila are making a kind of bed from small sticks. Peddler comes and after greeting, he loughs. Adila asks the peddler that if they had not made it well. The peddler replies no and says that he remembers a joke about the bed.

the children want him to tell the joke.

The peddler tells the following joke, “Three boys were sleeping in a single bed but the bed can accommodate two people. One of the boys left the bed and slept on the ground. One of the two boys on the bed told him to come back to bed because now it has a more free place.”

The children like the joke and the peddler goes to the last lane.

Third Lane:

Anas has a piece of bread in his skirt and he is eating from it.

Khadija wants him to wash his hands first and then eat bread. Anas doesn’t accept.

Peddler and Golden Wing fairy come and children welcome them. Khadija wants the fairy to tell them a new story. The fairy wants them to tell them the last part of the previous story. They tell them and the the fairy tells them the first part of the story of, “Washing Hands”.
