Tricky Shopkeeper:

Rahim goes to Karim’s shop and asks him about the quarrel with Qambar Gul. Karim condemns Gul Khan, Qambar Gul’s Brother for informing others of the expiry date of groceries in Ghafar’s shop. Rahim blames Karim in this issue. Purdil ی says that he would talk to Karim about the problem.

Rahim goes home and asks his mother, Rabia Gul about the quarrel of Karim with Qambar Gul. Rabia Gul says that she is aware of it. Karim blames her that why she has not told him yet.

Ghafar goes to Purdil’s shop and wants him to return his money for expired groceries. Purdil says that he decides to return the groceries to the shopkeeper he bought from and adds that when the shopkeeper pays the money, he would pay back Ghafar’s money.

Karim seems very sad and angry. He says to Purdil that he lost his all money on expired groceries and might not be able to pay his loan back.

Purdil wants him to not worry about money because he has thought about another trick to find more money.

Wheat Reaping:

Sayed Mohammad has gotten a good wheat harvest. Rahim Daad comes and Sayed Mohammad gives him some wheat as his wage for the haircut.

Zarghona brings some wheat seeds to her grandmother, Zarmina and wants her to fry them for her. Omid says that he also likes fried wheat. Zarmina promises to fry wheat seeds for them

Ban Girls from Education:

Akbar comes home and wants to take Palwasha with him in order to transfer her to another school. Zarmina says that Palwasha has gone to bring water from the spring. She asks Akbar not to let Palwasha go to school because Qambar Gul would leave home.

Akbar says that he doesn’t want to waste one-year education of her daughter.

Qambar Gul comes late home and says that as no one accepts his want, no one has the right to ask about what he does. Zarmina says that she prevented Akbar from sending Palwasha to school.
