Every producer needs a good market for his/her productions. Nowadays there are many shops built in Kabul city but small businessmen could not pay high rent.

Some people have found a solution for this problem. The writer/producer AEPO has talked to Haji Jamil, a resident of Paktia province, who keep honey bees.

He said: I have been keeping honey bees for 20 years but about 4 years ago, I started to sell honey in a car in Kabul city. I could sell honey in any place of the city.

my four brothers and two villagers are helping me in keeping honey bees in Paktia. Whenever I need honey, they send me to Kabul.

We have different kinds of honey for sale and the price of any kind of honey belong to the nectar of the flowers that bees collect. We get about Afs. 50 benefit from each bottle of honey in retail selling but in the whole sale, we get Afs. 30 per bottle and our daily benefit reach up to Afs. 900.

Pasteurized Yoghurt:

Zikria is one of the share holders of yogurt pasteurization company in Kabul city. He says about his work to the writer/producer AEPO:

At the beginning, we started work with a small amount of money seven years back. At that time, we collected 120 kilograms milk per day and we were facing many problems for lack of packing, electricity, and marketing.

Nowadays most of our problems are solved. Before we were collecting milk from Narkh, district of Logar province but now, we also collect it from Chahar Aasiab, district of Kabul province. We produce pasteurized yogurt, milk, curd, butter, and doogh (yogurt mixed with water) in packings of different sizes and we have a good market for our products. Our pasteurized yogurt could be kept for a week.
