Water is one the of major sources to all living things. Up to 70% of the adult human body consists of water.

With the warming of the weather in summer, working or walking under the direct rays of the sun, our body evaporates some water. In this case, if we do not drink water or other liquids, we would face some health problems as sunstroke.

The writer/producer of AEPO has talked to some people about this problem.

Abdul Wahid Qazizadah, an internist at one of the private hospitals in Kabul city says:

Sunstroke increases the heat of the human body, causes cramps, dryness of skin, headache and dizziness, if someone does not pay attention to it, it might cause death.

Those, who work under the sun, they should wear light color clothes, use an umbrella and have drinking water with them.

Those, who live in an apartment which doesn’t have any way for fresh air; those who have heart diseases and fatness might also face the problem of heatstroke.

First Aids for Sunstroke:

When someone faces sunstroke, carry him/her to a shadow. Remove /his/her extra clothes. Wash his/her face and head with cold water. If possible, turn on a fan for him/her and show the patient to a doctor for essential treatment as soon as possible
