Written by: Aqsa Sediqi

Some businessmen do not have enough funds to start their own business; therefore they have to find a partner. Sometimes, some of them complain about their partners and they have faced loss in their business.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Wahidullah, a resident of Kabul city.

Wahidullah talks about his business, “I opened a restaurant about 6 years back. At the beginning, I opened a restaurant in Kabul city and as I was alone and was not able to control all the chores in the restaurant, I decided to have a partner. I had enough information about one of my friends and I suggested him to be my partner and he accepted and we continue our business together.

Our customers increase every day and we are satisfied with our business.

I know a businessman who had a partner that he did not have enough information about him and finally they separated from each other and one party faced about 300 thousand Afghanis loss.”

Good Occupation:

Some housewives suffer from a week economy and some of them face psychological problems too.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Safora, a resident of Herat province who had the same problem.

Safora says, “When I came back from immigration, there was no one at our home to work outside the house and helps us in the past 18 years. I was not able to pay the rent of our house for several months. I was always thinking about this issue and it caused me a stomach ache and I was always crying. I faced psychological problems too.

I have a sewing machine at home and I sewed a dress for my daughter first and then for myself. When our relatives and neighbors saw them, they praised my works and encouraged me to start my work as a woman tailor. Later one of my friends introduced me to the women tailoring center in Herat city. Now I sew clothes here in this center and also at home. I sew a pair of child’s dress in two days and I spend about 200 Afghanis for each pair and then I sell it for 400-500 Afghanis.

Once I showed my handicrafts in one of the exhibitions in Herat province and sold enough products in the mentioned exhibition.  Now I can solve my home economic problems and can treat my illness.”
