Putting Coin in Mouth

First Lane:

Salim gives a coin of five Afghanis to his sister, Hadia, and says that his father gave 10 Afghanis to both of them. Hadia puts the coin in her mouth. Salim prevents her but Hadia says that she doesn’t have a pocket in her shirt. Meanwhile, the peddler arrives and the children welcome him.

Peddler asks about their argument. Hadia replies in a way that she could not talk well. Peddler sees the coin in her mouth and wants her to bring it out immediately and says that putting coins in the mouth is dangerous. Hadia asks about the danger of it.

Peddler brings out the magic mirror from his bag.

Hadia and Salim see a hospital in the mirror and an unconscious boy is laying down on a bed. Hadia asks about the problem with the boy. Peddler turns on the other side of the mirror.

The boy’s father gives some money to his son to bring somethings from the shop. His son puts a coin in his mouth and suddenly he vomits and becomes unconscious and his father takes him to the hospital.

Peddler takes the mirror back in his bag.

Hadia and other children promise that they would never put coins in their mouths. Peddler goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Some children are laughing in the lane. Peddler comes and after greeting the children, he asks the cause of their laughter. Zarmina replies that Amin told them a joke. Peddler wants Amin to re-tell the joke. Amin tells the following joke, “A teacher asked a student that what else could be found in the atmosphere with oxygen. The student replied that we could find mosquitoes, flies and birds in the atmosphere.

Peddler and other children like the joke. Peddler wants the children to learn more jokes for next time. Children ask about their prizes. Rabbit comes out from the peddler’s bag and tells a melody about winter and peddler and the rabbit go to the last the last lane.

Third Lane:

Khabir and Fatima repeat the previous part of the story, “yellow Chicken”. Peddler and Golden Wing fairy hear it and fairy tells them the 3rd part of the story.
