Some people do not seem satisfied with their Monotonous works and they lose their most customers but some others have paid attention to this issue and have brought some positive changes in their works and attracted the attention of more customers.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Faridon Firotan, a resident of Kabul city.

Firotan says about his business, “My father had a job in the Ministry of Agriculture and when he retired, I started to raise flowers and saplings in a nursery about 18 years ago with the help of my father. I have more than 100 types of flower and tree in my nursery.

Later I invited a designer from abroad and he designs birds’ shapes in special saplings and I pay for him. These changes caused to increase my customers. First, he grafts the mentioned saplings and then he designs them.

The price of a single designed sapling reaches 2000 Afghanis and the price of an ordinary sapling is about 1000 Afghanis.”

Changing the type of business:

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Muhammad Almas, a resident of Kabul city. Almas talks about his business, “We were making clothes in our factory but when the government quarantined all business due to the spreading of coronavirus, we also faced economic problems. Our marketer checked the market and found that the need for facemask was increased day by day and we started to produce facemask.

At the beginning, we were producing about 4000 masks daily but now our daily product reaches 9000 pieces of the facemask.

We spend 8 Afghanis on each facemask and we sell it for 9 Afghanis. The cost of the second type of facemask is 10 Afghanis and we sell it for 13 Afghanis. Our customers are some organizations, offices, and medical stores.”
