Most businessmen try to produce high-quality items and present them to the market but some of them do not know what the customers want.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Mariam Habib, a resident of Kabul city.

Mariam says about her business, “Before I had a workhouse somewhere else and it was far from the city and it was hard for my customers to come to the workhouse. Once one of the customers ordered me online to prepare her a dress according to a sample he had sent me its picture. When I prepared the dress, and she saw it, she did not like it and I had to tolerate the loss of 2500 Afghanis.

It was my customers' demand to open the workhouse in the middle of the city and I shifted to the new place about 3 months ago. I spent about 25 thousand Afghanis on my new workhouse. There are banks and learning centers and women could easily come to this workhouse.

Now we have two agencies and the number of our customers increases day by day and our sales increased by 20 % yet.

We prepared jam, pickle, ladies suits, embroideries and jewelries.”

Dairy Farm:

Some people bring facilities in their products to increase their customers.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Abdul Nasir Hashimi a dairy farm owner. Hashimi talks about his business, “I opened the dairy farm about 3 years ago and we sell fresh milk, yogurt, whey and powder of dry curd.

I learned to make a powder of dry curd in one of our neighboring countries and I spent about 250000 Afghanis for learning dry curd powder. The price of one-kilogram dry curd powder is about 450-500 Afghanis and our monthly sale reaches 40-50 kilograms dry curd powder.

This new product caused an increase in our customers and introduced us to more customers.”
