Home Tutoring Services

Some students go to education courses, especially for university entry exam preparation courses but some people have thought that they could give the same training in the students’ homes.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Masih, the director of the office of home teaching services.

Masih says about his activities, “When I and some of my friends graduated from the university and some of us have master's degrees too, we did find not appropriate jobs, then we opened this office about 5 months ago. Our office presents different services but we have started our work from home teaching services. We have ten teachers and they go and teach students at students’ homes and also we have some reserved teachers too and when our customers increase, then we hire them. We pay 5-7 thousand Afghanis monthly salary to each of our teachers. Our incomes increase day by day and our benefits are more than our expenses and now we could solve our economic problems.”

Exhibition:

AEPO’s writer/producer had a trip to Balkh province and there had a visit to an exhibition in Mazar-e-Sharif city and had talked Arizo Amiri. Arizo says about her business, “I am one of the sellers at the rural bazaar exhibition. I sell chutney, dried pepper, spices, pickles, salad, jams, and knitted clothes. We are 3 sisters working together. At the beginning, we borrowed 5000 thousand Afghanis from one of our friends and then started our work 14 years ago. We prepare the materials at our village and then we sell our products to supermarkets owners. Each of us gets 7-8 thousand Afghanis monthly.”
