The Benefits of Water

Mursal and Ilham go to the castle and they see that Lalo Mama in the yard and he is drinking water. They go near and Lalo Mama welcomes them. Mursal asks Lalo Mama that why he drinks water in this cold weather. Lalo Mama takes them inside the castle.

In the castle, Mursal repeats her question again about the water. Lalo Mama says water drinking has many advantages and we do not drink enough water, we might different health problems and then he opens a window for their information.

Window:

In the window, the reporter of the castle says that more people do not drink water in the winter and the she talks to some youth about this issue.

Nargis, a resident of Chaharasiab district, Kabul province says, “I was suffering from kidneys pain. When the doctor tested, I had pus and stones in my kidneys. The doctor said that not drinking water caused me this problems and he advised me to drink water all the time.”

Amrullah, a resident of Qarabagh district, Kabul province says, “I was not drinking water and had been suffering from headache and dizziness. The doctor said that the cause of headache and dizziness is not drinking water.”

Then the reporter talks to an internist, Haseebullah Muhammadi. Muhammadi says, “As the body needs foods, it needs water too. The human body is composed of 60-70% water and every person have to drink 1 liter water every day. Drinking Water Helps Maintain the Balance of Body Fluids. The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature. Our body needs water for every function it performs. Dehydration is the term for your body's reaction when you don't drink enough water, resulting in a fluid deficiency. When left untreated, chronic dehydration has been linked to other health conditions like high blood pressure and kidney stones, kidney pus and more.”

Lalo Mama closes the widow.

Mursal and Ilham Promise that they would drink more water in any seasons of the year.

Musal sees a book on the table in the castle and she reads a poem from it and says that a famous poet might be written this poem. Lalo Mama says that this poem belongs to young girl and then he opens a window for their more information.


Window:

In the window, the reporter of the castle is talking with Sajida. Sajida says, “I am 14 years old girl and a night-grade student. I am a writer and a poet and write short stories too. I started writing poems when I was a seventh-grade student. I have written about 162 poems but have not published my poems collection book yet. I have published a book under the title of “Sonia and Two Dolls”. My first poem was about king Amanullah Khan and my teacher made some corrections in it and she encouraged me to write more poems. At the beginning I faced many problems and people were telling me that I am girl and should not write poems but I did not care about it and I continue my writing poems and short stories.
