Innovation is the creation and transformation of new knowledge into new products, processes, or services that meet market needs. If a businessman brings innovation in his business, he would be more successful.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Sajia, a resident of Kabul city.

Sajia talks about her business: “We have started our business about seven months before. We provide different services in our company like washing, repairing and ironing clothes, curtains, mattresses, pillows etc. Our more customers are hospitals, hostels, guest houses, and some families.

We talked to about 40 institutions about our services three months before starting our work and they accepted our suggestion and then we started our work.

We have hired 10 women in our company and we have home delivery services. The price of a pair of pants and coat is 150 Afghanis and we take 150 Afghanis per kg other materials like curtain, mattresses, pillow and pants and shirt. Our net monthly income reaches to 40 thousand Afghanis.”

Wood-Ware products:

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked Ali Fayez, a resident of Kabul city who produces woodware products.

Fayez says about his business: “For seven years back, we have been manufacturing woodware products in our factory with the innovation. We produce book cabinets, beds, furniture, various kinds of tables and other materials according to our customers’ orders. In the beginning, we were producing wood wares products as other carpenters were producing but three years ago, we brought some positive changes to our products. We make a book cabinet in the shape of a tree and more people like it and they order us. Our incomes have increased by 50% in the recent three years after bringing innovation in our business.”
