Everyone wants to save money but there are many ways for this purpose. One of these ways is considering the expenses and income.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Abdal, a resident of Sayed Noor Muhammad Shah Mena, district 8, Kabul city.

Abdal says about his business: “I had a shop and my expenses were more than my income and I did think about it and lost my income and this caused my shop to change into a kart.”

All businessmen are not the same. AEPO’s writer/producer has also talked to a shopkeeper who sell cloth in Kabul city.

He says: “A businessman should consider the relationship between consumption and savings otherwise, he/she might fail in the business. I started work with one of my friends. As I was a professor of university and did know anything about business, we faced the loss of about 700 thousand Afghanis and my friend left the shop to me and that failure opened me the way for success and I continue my work.

I calculate my daily, weekly, and monthly income and adds from income on my shop budget. I have a diary for my daily works and I separate money from my daily income for my shop and home expenses. My income increases day by day and my life is better than before.”

Showcase:

Some shopkeeper put their goods in the showcases. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to a shopkeeper, Sabir a resident of Kabul city.

Sabir talks about his business: “I started my business as a dry fruits seller in Kabul dry fruits market about 22 years ago and later I shifted to a new place. I sell more 50 kinds of fruits and I pack different varieties of dry fruits in plastic bags and I put them in the showcase of my shop. When a customer wants to buy one-kilogram dry fruits, I sell the fruits from the showcase and if someone wants more fruits, I sell from the fruits inside my shop. I have hired a worker to clean and pack fruits and I pay him about 10 thousand Afghanis monthly salary. The showcase caused to increase my selling about 60% more than before.
