  Written by: Muhammad Anwar Andar

Ali draws lines on the ground and asks Huma about the number of lines. Huma says that she would tell him about them after the counting of lines. Meanwhile, peddler comes with the rabbit and the children greet him. When peddler sees the lines on the ground, he asks that if they play Broken Pitcher playing. Huma asks about the Broken Pitcher playing. Peddler turns on the talking box.

A boy says: “children divide into two groups and each group draw lines in different places of the ground. After a few minutes, one of the members of two groups calls “broken Pitcher” and both groups stop drawing lines. The members of each group go and find the lines of the other group, and they checkmark all lines. After a few seconds, one of them calls again “Broken-Pitcher” and they stop marking the lines. Then they count the unchecked lines and if any group has more checkmarks, they would be announced the winner.”

Children like the play. Peddler and his rabbit go to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Hakim has some Jalebi (a kind of sweets) in a shopping bag and says to her sister, Talwasa that he has kept them to the peddler. Peddler arrives and after greeting, Hakim gives the Jalebi to the peddler. Peddler says that he remembers a joke about Jalebi. Children ask him to tell the joke. Peddler says the following joke: A boy asks a confectioner that what is he making? The confectioner said that he is making Jalebi. The boy asks him how many years he passed in this shop. The confectioner says that he has started his work about ten years ago. The boy asks why he could learn how to make smooth Jalebi. Children like the joke. Peddler asks them to learn more jokes for the next time and he goes to the other lane.

Third Lane:

Hedayat and Kamila are waiting for the peddler to come and tell them the second of the story: Birds Nest.

Hedayat hears the peddler is playing the flute. They go near and welcome him and Golden Wing fairy.

Kamila asks the Golden Wing fairy to tell the second part of the Birds Nest.

Golden Wing fairy says that Haroon was thinking the whole night about the happiness of Haidar. Next day Haidar took Haroon and they went to the pasture.

Birds Nest: Part two

When they reached to pasture, Haroon asked Haidar to tell him about his happiness. Haidar took him beside an old wall and asked Haroon to enter his hand in the hole of the wall. Haider denied and said that if something bites him.
