The Puzzle

First Lane:

Khatira and Faisal are playing in the lane. Khatira hears the voice of the peddler and she goes with Faisal toward the peddler and after greeting, they ask about their gifts.

Rabbit tells them the following puzzle and she promises that if they find the correct answer, the peddler would give them good prizes.

The puzzle is: "there is a white room but has no door and lane."

Khatira and Faisal tries but could not find the correct answer. Then the rabbit gives them a hint on it. Khatira succeeds to find the correct answer which is the egg.

Peddler gives a boiled egg to each of them and then he turns on his talking box.

in the talking box, Mariam, a resident of Jalalabad city, Nangarhar province says the following joke: “a boy asked a chicken seller ti give him a hen. The chicken seller gave him a lame hen. The boy asked the seller to give him a healthy hen. The chicken seller told him that if wants the chicken for cooking of for dancing?”

Children like the joke and peddler goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Nasir is playing with his sister, Lema in their garden. They bring out the nut from the apricots and drop the apricot on the ground. Meanwhile, the peddler enters into the lane. They ask the peddler to come to their garden. When peddler goes to the garden, he asks Nasir that why he has thrown the apricots on the ground. Nasir says that he does not like to eat apricots and he just eat their nuts.

Peddler says that if they know about the benefits of the apricot, they would never throw them.

Lema asks about the benefits of the apricots. Peddler says that the apricot strengthens teeth and gums; smoothens skin and increases eyesight. Nasir says if the apricot has so many health benefits, I would always eat them.

Peddler appreciates them and he goes to the other lane.

Third Lane:

Nawab and Nooria are waiting for the peddler and Golden Wind fairy to come and tell them a new part of the story: “Nek-Bad”.

Peddler arrives with Golden Wing fairy to the lane while is playing the flute.

Nooria and Nawab welcome them and ask the fairy to tell them a new part of the story.

Peddler asks them to tell him first the previous part of the story.
