Rectangular

Karima and Toba are drawing hopscotch on the ground. Karima says that she drew round cell for hopscotch but Toba says that the cells have four angles. Meanwhile, peddler arrives and they greet him. Karima asks him about the drawing of hopscotch. Peddler says each cell of hopscotch has four lines two long, and two small.

Peddler asks about the shape of hopscotch’s cell. Toba says that such shapes are called square. Peddler says that square has four equal lines but any object that has two parallel long and two parallel small lines are called rectangular as safety matches box.

Toba says that pillow and mattress also have rectangular shapes. Karima says that the roof of their room also has a rectangular shape.

Peddler appreciates them. Meanwhile, the rabbit says a poem about rectangular, Toba and Karima learn it. The peddler goes to the other alley.

Second Lane:

Muzamil and Hasina are waiting for the peddler to come and tell them a new joke. Peddler arrives with his rabbit. Children warmly welcome him. Hasina asks peddler to tell them a joke. Peddler says that he doesn’t remember any new joke. Rabbit turns on the talking box.

A boy is telling the following joke:

“Ahmad says to Jamil that her small brother is so scared that when anyone knocks on the door, he hides inside the wardrobe. Jamil says that let him hide in the wardrobe.

Ahmad says that the wardrobe is so small that he and his brother could not be hidden at the same time in it.”

Children like the joke and thank the rabbit. Peddler goes to the next alley.

ْThe Story Lane:

Adamkhan and Sayeda are waiting for the peddle in the alley to come and tell them the new part of the story “Dirty Water”.

Peddler comes with his rabbit and they welcome him. Sayeda asks the peddler to tell the new part of the story. Rabbit asks them that what happened in the previous part.

Adamkhan says that in the last part of the story, Fahim wanted to enter into the ditch but he heard a voice the prevented him from entering the ditch.

Sayeda says that Fahim and his sister, Sana searched around the ditch but found no one.

Peddler says that they were astonished by the voice. Meanwhile, they saw a frog in the ditch.

Part Four:

The frog asked Sana and Fahim to go near her. Fahim asked the frog that why she prevented him from entering the ditch. The frog said that she became sad when she heard from his sister that you were sick. Fahim said that he was sick but now he is enough well. The frog said that you caused me, our froglets and fish in the ditch to become sick.

Fahim asked the reason. The frog says that she knows the cause of his illness too. Fahim asked about its.
