The Students School Transformation

Due to different reasons some of the families migrate to different parts of the city of provinces. Besides other problems, sometimes they face problems in the transformation of their children to the new schools.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to some students about this issue.

Momina says: “My two friends wanted to transfer to our school, but they didn’t know the procedure of school transformation, now they are at home and aren’t going to school. One day I met them, and they said that it was their wish to study, but unfortunately, they left the school in ninth grade

The Headmaster of Paghman girls’ high school, Kabul province says: “we have the same cases in our schools. those who want to transfer their schools, they have to complete the procedure of school transformation, otherwise, they would not be able to continue their school.”

Malali a resident of Paktia Province says: “we lived in a rental house and we shifted to a new house far from our previous house. I didn’t know the procedure of school transformation, and my brothers also didn’t help me. I missed my one year studying and in the second year, I succeeded to transfer my school.”

What do people think about the reason for these problems?

Mehri, a resident of Paghman district says: “at the beginning, we did not have any information about the transformation of the school and later when I started to transfer my school, there was a big crowd in the related office and it was hard for me to pass my documents to the office.”

Controlling chief of the Kabul education department, Mr. Ahmad Shah Arabzai says: “If someone wants to transfer her/his school in Kabul city, in the first step, he/she should get the agreement of the new school and then he/she should refer to our department. We refer him/her to the present school and the school prepare three copies of transfer letter, the school office gives the first copy to the student and he/she handle it to the new school and the other two copies with the student’s biography and record of his/her past years numbers are sent officially to the new school and also Kabul city education department and student should start his/her study in the new school.”
