How to Solve Enmity among Clans?

Variety ethnic groups live in Afghanistan. Most of them live in a peaceful environment; help each other and solve the existed problems, but sometimes some minor cases cause a serious problem between them.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to some people about this issue.

Roshan Safi, a resident of Alishang district of Laghman province says: “A conflict had taken place between youths during their immigration. When they returned to Afghanistan, one group killed two persons of the other group. Now they are afraid of each other and could not cultivate their land and nor could go to the bazaar.”

Some people have found a solution to such problems.

Zabihullah, a resident of Logar province says: “a conflict took place between two tribes in our village and in the result, six persons lost their lives. When the elders of our village became aware, they invited the elders of the opposite cline. They solved the conflict in a village council and now they are living in peace.”
