Sport is not only useful for health but it could also be useful for securing the relationship between human beings. In Afghanistan, some sportsmen have found a way to earn some money from sports.

The writer/producer AEPO has talked to Fatima Jafari, an athlete, who trains some girls in a Ladies Martial Arts Complex.

Jafari says: When I was a child, and playing with my friends, I wanted to have control over everyone and that was my only motivation to exercise.

I have 5 years experience of boxing exercise and 4 years of Self Defense Art(qowat-ul-rami). When I started the sport, I needed money to continue my education as well. I invited Some other girls, who were eager to exercise in this complex. Each girl pays 300 Afghanis monthly fee and our monthly income reaches up to 12-15 thousand Afghanis.

Jafari added: the complex belongs to the director of Sports Federation and I have to pay him 50% of the total income.

Achievements: There are a lot of domestic achievements. Regarding the foreign achievements, we won the Asian bronze medal in Lebanon in 2016 and got the first position in the Mediterranean competitions.

Benefits of Work Experience:

Sayed Naseem, who was the coordinator of waiters at one of the restaurants in Kabul city, now is the owner of a restaurant. He says to the writer/producer AEPO:

I was working for a restaurant but due to a lot of work constraints, I prefer to leave the job. Two months before, I opened my own restaurant.

At the beginning, I sat with my other colleagues and solved the wages and leaves problems of our waiters. We hired one extra cook and one extra waiter so that one of them could use his annual leaves.

I advised the waiters how to deal with customers. The number of our daily customers reaches to 100-150 persons.
