Dowry and Its Problems

In Afghanistan, the boy's family usually proposes girl's family and pays for the wedding expenses. In addition to that, according to Shari'ah, the boy’s family pays a certain amount of money (Mehria) to the girl, but some families demand money from the groom's family using the customs and traditions of the country under different names which many problems.
