Zarari and Khatari

Written by: Nasratullah Samim

Samir and Lema were brother and sister. They lived with their family in a green village. One day when Samir took the cows to the garden for grazing, he saw the apricots in the tree and said to Lema that the apricots are ready for eating. Samir climbed the tree and shook some branches and a few apricots fell on the ground. Lima picked up the apricots in a plastic bag.

When Samir came down from the tree, he wanted Lema to give him the apricots, but Lema refused and said that he should wash the apricots before eating. Samir said he did not need to wash them and wanted to take the apricots from Lama, but Lama escaped. Samir followed and a few seconds later managed to take the apricots from him and eat them.

A few hours later, Samir's stomach felt something running inside it. The stomach asked them to introduce themselves. The running objects replied that they were harmful germs (Zarari and Khatari) and were very happy to find a suitable place to live. The stomach asked them how they got to the stomach.

Zarari and Khatari replied that Samir helped enter the stomach. On the other hand, Samir was suffering stomach pain and vomiting, but his father was not at home to take him to the doctor.

When Samir's father returned home, he took Samir to the clinic and the doctor admitted him to the clinic.

Lema went to the clinic to see Samir. Lema asked Samir about his stomach ache. Samir replied that it is better than before. Lema wanted to know what the doctor said about the cause of Samir's stomach pain.

Samir replied that the doctor said that the pain was due to eating contaminated fruits but Samir said that he had not eaten such fruits.

Lema reminded him eating unwashed apricots. Samir admitted his mistake and promised that when he regained his health, he willnever eat unwashed fruits
