The Treatment of Malaria

According to the information provided by the ministry of public health of Afghanistan to BBC, about 380 thousand people have been infected with malaria parasite in 2016 all over the country.

Malaria is a parasitic disease transfer by a female malaria mosquito, Anopheles. The writer/producer AEPO has talked to some of the malaria patients in one of the hospitals in Kabul city.

A girl, Asma says: Once I had passed malaria disease. As I had not taken the medicines properly, I became sick again and this time, my health condition is worst. Fever with shivering, boredom, and body pain are increased.

Doctor Iqbal Rahimi, a physician of malaria at Afghan-Japan Hospital in Kabul city says: Malaria is a fatal disease, if one does not take the medicines In accordance with the guidance of the doctor, the malaria parasite, hidden in liver, attacks again and faces the patient with more problems and if not cure, it might cause death of the patient.

In order to be recovered from malaria parasites, we should go to a doctor and take medicines regularly.
