Seasons of the Year

First Lane:

Sima wants his brother, Jawid to play with her in the lane but Jawid sits beside a wall in the sun and says that his hands are burning and he doesn’t want to play.

Peddler enters into the lane and they welcome him. Peddler asks Sima about Jawid’s trouble. Sima replies that Jawid’s hands are burning and itching and he could not play.

Peddler talks about the winter and its dry climate and then he brings out the magic mirror from his bag.

Jawid and Sima see Jawid’s hands cracks in the mirror. Children ask about the treatment of dry and crack hands.

Peddler says that they should keep their hands and feet moisturized in the winter and then the peddler gives a bottle of Vaseline to each of them and wants to apply it to their hands and feet at night before going to sleep and then wash them with lukewarm water and soap in the morning.

Children thank the peddler and the peddler goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Murtaza and his sister, Frishta are arguing in the lane for telling a new joke but none of them know  a new joke.

Meanwhile, the peddler comes and they welcome him. Peddler asks about their argument. Frishta shares the issue with him.

The rabbit comes out from the peddler and she tells a joke about a teacher and a student.

The children like the joke. The peddler wants them to find new jokes for the next time and then he goes to the other lane.

Third Lane:

Peddler enters into the lane while murmuring a poem. After greeting, Firoz and Fawzia ask that what he was murmuring.

Peddler replies that he was murmuring a poem about the seasons of the year and he wants the children to learn the name of the season from the poem. Peddler repeats the poem twice and children

that one year has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Peddler praises them by giving them a gift and he goes to the last lane.

Fourth Lane:

Ramina and her brother, Amin are telling a brief of the story of “Hand Washing”. Peddler comes with Golden Wing Fairy and after greeting, the fairy wants the children to repeat the previous part of the story. Children do and the fairy tells a new part of the story.
