The benefits of Carrot

1st Lane:

Asad and Tahira are playing in the lane. Peddler arrives and they greet him warmly. They see the rabbit in the peddler’s bag eating something. Tahira asks her about her eating. Rabbit says that she eating carrots. Tahira says that she hates carrots and like yogurt. Peddler says that yogurt has separate benefit and carrots have separate benefits for health. Tahira asks about the benefits of carrots.

The rabbit says that carrots keep skin fresh, clear and smooth and increase eyesight. Peddler says that some people prepare jam, pickle, and Halwa from carrots. Carrots are also used in vegetable soup. If someone makes a mixture of carrots and yogurt and eats it, it would make the teeth and other bones of human body stronger.

Assad says that has remembered a joke about carrots. Peddler asks him to tell his joke.

Assad says: A physician had kept a rabbit in his clinic. The rabbit had been asking carrots so many time. The physician said her that this a clinic not a house to find you some carrots. The rabbit says that please give me a bottle of carrot syrup.

2nd Lane:

Shamila and Jawid are waiting for the peddler to come and tell them the 2nd episode of the Small Girl.

Peddler starts the new episode as follows:

Second Episode:

A frog entered Tahmina’s house and took the Small Girl with her and left her in the river. The SDmall Girl was very afraid and cried. The frog said to her that none would harm her. The Frog said that her froglet is sick and you have to play with her. The Small fGirl cried and asked her to leave her to go to Tahmina’s house but the frog did accept.

Small Girl remembered that her mother had told her that the boiled water of chicory leaves help fever. She asked frog to bring some chicory leaves, boil in water and give it to the froglet, her fever might be recovered soon. The Frog brought chicory leaves and gave the boiled water of it to froglet and she recovered from fever. The froglet asks her parents to leave the small fairy but they say that the small fairy could help them more and they would keep her in a cage.

Another creature in the river hears their talking and says to the Small Girl that she would help her.
