The benefits of Quince

First Lane:

Satar is coughing and playing in the lane. His sister, Safia wants him to go back home and boiled quince but Satar says that he doesn’t like quince.

Peddler arrives and the children welcome him. The peddler asks about their argument. Safia replies that Satar is coughing and her mother has boiled quince and she wanted to eat it but Satar doesn’t want to eat it.

Peddler asks the reason. Satar replies that he hates eating quince. Peddler says that eating quince has many benefits for health and he brings out the magic mirror from his bag.

A quince appears in the mirror and says that it is not only a fruit but it is good medicine for health. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties and is very useful for the prevention and treatment of colds and flu. quince seeds are effective for coughs and sore throats. Quince adds that it is also useful for stomach pain and prevents diarrhea.

The peddler takes the mirror back into his bag. Satar promises that he would go back home and would eat boiled quince. Peddler gives each of them a raw quince and wants them to boil them at home and he goes to the next lane.

Second Lane:

Peddler enters into the lane when children are laughing. When they see the peddler, they welcome him. Peddler asks them about their laughter.

Yasir replies that they were telling jokes and Marwa, who was angry with them, reconciled. The peddler wants them to tell the joke to him too.

Yasir tells the following joke, “Few crazy men were sitting together. Meanwhile, another madman came immediately and asked them if they sensed the earthquake.

 One of them replied that his face toward the other side.” Peddler likes the joke and wants them to learn more jokes for the next time and when he wants to go to the other lane, Marwa stops him and tells a melody. Peddler likes the melody and then he goes to the last lane.

Third Lane:

Samira and Samim are waiting for the peddler and Golden Wing fairy to come and tell them a new part of the story, Yellow Chicken.

Peddler and Golden Wing fairy arrive and they welcome them. Samira wants the fairy to tell them a new part of the story but the fairy wants them to repeat the previous part first.

Samira and Samim repeat the previous part and the fairy tells them a new part of the story of “Yellow Chicken.”
