Those who want to start a business, they try to choose a good place for his business; offer best quality items in a convenient price but some of them survey the need of the residents and then start their business.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Mir Ahmad, a resident of Kabul city.

Mir Ahmad says, “First I surveyed that the water of the area where we live, is contaminated and most residents were facing health problems.

As the residents have a low economic condition and could not purchase 20 liters of purified water for 50 Afghanis, so I decided to solve this problem. I dug 170 meters deep well and bought a water purifier machine about 6 months ago and started to purify drinking water.

I had no customers for 4 months but now about 200-300 families purchase purified water from me. Two rickshaws deliver water to my customers’ houses. My net monthly income reaches about 18000 Afghanis.”

Those who have self-confidence, are always successful in their business. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Mina Rezaei, a resident of Kabul city.

Ms. Rezaei says about her business, “I opened a coffee shop about 3 years ago. I spent 50 thousand Afghanis to prepare the equipment. I had fewer customers for the first year but as I have confidence in my ability, I continued my business. At the beginning, I had 3 tables for my customers but now the number of tables reaches 12. Now my capital has reached about 800 thousand Afghanis.”
