According to the information provided by the website of Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Afghanistan, there are about 18 million Afghans use cell phones and some of them use more than one sim card at a time.

Cell phones provide more facilities to the people, but sometimes when they are in the hand of children, as they don’t know the usage of the phone, it might create some problems for their parents.

Shamim, a resident of Kabul city says to the writer/producer of AEPO:

One day, while I was busy at home chores,  my child had got my cell phone and called to an unknown number. That number had been annoying me during the night. My husband had doubt on me. He changed the number of my cell phone, but still, he is suspicious of me.

How to get rid of this problem?

Maryam is another resident of Kabul city. She says: if you prepare toys and games to your children and lock your cell phone by a specific password, the children would not use your cell phone.

You could also keep your cell phone with you. It’s better not to keep private pictures in your cell phone and attention should be paid to children while you are at home.
