In recent years, a large number of youngsters have immigrated to different countries and they have learned some professions. When they come back to the country, they take the benefit of their profession and make their lives better.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Parweez, a resident of Kabul city.

Parweez says about his business, “I make and repair car seats and seat leaders according to the order of the customers. Before the car owners had to import the seats for their cars from abroad and now they do not have to import them. When I was in Turkey, I learned this profession in three years in one of the factories of the mentioned country. When I came back to Afghanistan, I started the same profession. I can make and repair about 25 pairs of seats monthly and get 1500-2000 benefits from each pair. My monthly income reaches about 30000 Afghanis.”

Painting on the wall

Some people have learned new skills and they get more benefits.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Qudratullah Shadab, a resident of Kabul city.

Shadab says about his business, “I have been interested in drawing since I was a child. I learned the basics of drawing from the internet and for the first time, I painted on my home wall. People liked my paintings and wanted to paint on the wall of their homes as well.

First, I sketch the customer's desired image on the wall with a pencil and then I paint the image with 70% or 100% oil paint but the wall should be already painted and clean.

I shared the samples of my arts through my Facebook and customers order me to paint on their home’s walls.

Once I painted some images for an institution in two days, and they paid me 14000 Afghanis fees.”
